Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RAJAN Dental ("RAJAN Dental", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Smile On! AI Smile Makeover web application (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

• Photos you upload. The selfie or portrait you submit for an AI smile preview, along with AI-generated variants produced from it.
• Google account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, Google account ID, and profile picture.
• Phone number (optional). If you provide one, we store it together with the country code (India, +91) for appointment reminders and care-related updates.
• Device and usage data. IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, referring pages, and interactions with the Service (pages viewed, buttons clicked, session timing).
• Cookies and similar technologies. We and our analytics and advertising partners use cookies, local storage, and pixels to operate the Service and measure performance.

2. How we use your information

• Generate AI smile-makeover previews from the photo you upload.
• Create and authenticate your account, and link your uploads to it.
• Send appointment reminders and care-related updates if you share a phone number.
• Measure how the Service is used, troubleshoot issues, and improve the experience.
• Show you relevant advertising on third-party platforms and measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.
• Prevent misuse, fraud, and abuse of the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Analytics and advertising tools we use

The Service uses the following third-party tools. Each is governed by the provider's own privacy policy.

• Google Analytics (GA4). Aggregate analytics about how visitors use the Service, including page views, sessions, and approximate location. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Microsoft Clarity. Behavioural analytics including session replays, heatmaps, and interaction events to help us understand and improve the user experience. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel). Conversion tracking and audience building to serve and measure advertising on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of many tracking technologies through your browser settings, platform-level ad preferences, or by using browser extensions such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

4. How your photos are processed

The photo you upload is processed by a generative AI model to produce illustrative smile-makeover variants. The original photo and the generated images are stored in our cloud storage so you can view, retry, and download your results. We do not sell your photos and do not use them to train third-party AI models outside of the processing required to generate your requested previews.

5. Sharing your information

We share information only as needed and with the following categories of recipients:

• Service providers that host our infrastructure, store files, send communications, and run the generative-AI models that create your previews, including Google (authentication and AI), Supabase (storage and database), Microsoft (Clarity), and Meta (Pixel).
• Dental care team at RAJAN Dental if you request a consultation, so they can follow up with you.
• Legal and safety recipients where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

We retain your account information, uploaded photos, and generated images for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us (see section 9). Aggregate analytics data may be retained in de-identified form.

7. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No internet transmission or storage system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

• Access, correct, or delete your account and uploaded photos.
• Withdraw consent for optional data (for example, your phone number).
• Opt out of marketing and analytics cookies in your browser.
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or guardian's consent to use the Service and to upload any photos.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be notified within the Service.
